Today’s world all to often tells Christians they have to leave their biblical beliefs and convictions at the door step before entering into an exchange of ideas on politics.  Those opposed to Christianity frequently cry “separation of church and state” as a fear tactic to keep Christians from speaking on issues, but the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution gives U.S. citizens the right to exercise and express their religious belief.

Rick Warren hosts presidential forum Sat. night

Pastor Rick Warren, pastor of Saddleback church in California, will be interviewing McCain and Obama tomorrow night (8/16). 

Warren says “[t]he leader who says, ‘I’m going to take my worldview and just put it on the shelf when I make decisions,’ is either an idiot or they’re lying, because you can’t do it . . . [a]ll of your decisions are based on what you value, what you believe in life. And so I think it’s important to find out what these guys really believe.”
