There are many ways Christians can give and make a difference in someone’s life, but giving basically comes down to providing another time and finances. Under the headings “Pray for Others” and “Serve Others,” people can see how they can give of their time. Below are several opportunities to give financially and make a difference in the lives of others.
Memorial to the Missing
Memorial to the Missing seeks to memorialize children that have been aborted in America. The goal is to collect 50 million pennies in donations from individuals and churches that will represent 50 million aborted children since the legalization of abortion in 1973.
Cash and check donations are converted to pennies and then deposited into the memorial display at the corner of Mississippi and President Street in downtown Jackson, MS. Once the initial goal is reached, the pennies will temporarily be on display before the $500,000 in donations will be used to establish an endowment that will generate proceeds to fund Mississippi pro-life ministries.
After the goal of 50 million pennies has been reached, the endowment will continue to receive donations to further much needed ministry to women struggling with pregnancy decisions. There will be absolutely no salaries or administrative costs coming out of these funds, and every penny will be channeled into areas that will help give life rather than destroy life.

Psalm 139 says that God knows the unborn child before they are even born! Although human wisdom can never come close to that of God’s, this project attempts to give the mother similar knowledge of her unborn child.
Psalm 139 Project places sonogram machines in pregnancy care centers to offer the mother a window to the womb that they might know their child. Statistics show that women are much less likely to abort their child if they have the opportunity to see their child using sonogram technology.
